Best time ever – introvert edition
There’s this general belief that introverts don’t know how to have fun. Indoor people, naturally awkward, rarely attending parties, we are supposed to live boring lives.
Well, that’s wrong.
If you’re an introvert and you’re searching for ways to have fun, you’ve come to the right place! 🦄
You are already. I strongly believe that most introverts have a natural talent to express their feelings. If extroverts are good with spoken words, introverts paint the words artistically, write them beautifully, capture them in pictures, they make them rhyme and sound so well. Just find what suits you.😊
Have your own party
Wait, wait, don’t leave yet! 😂 An introvert “party” will not include tons of unknown people, mainstream music and lots of alcoholic drinks. Create a cosy environment with books, tv series, playlists and the fluffiest blankets you have around. Yummy treats should be included. Fairylights are also a must. If you have a pet, make sure he/she receives the invitation.
Your best friend should join you on this one. Wait for the night to come – cause that’s the best time to debate the whole universe – isn’t it? Then text your friend. You can chat for hours or go for a walk. Have I mentioned the bonus part? Stargazing.🌃
You and your thoughts
Maybe you need to write them down. Or just put them in order, mentally. Introverts need time alone to recharge. Yoga might be a good extra activity. Just make sure you stay connected with what matters to you – and no, that should not be pleasing others.😌
Again, you don’t have to go mainstream. Buy that weird notebook you’ve seen, or the ultimate collection of sharpies! Or maybe the special edition trilogy you’e been saving for. No, you’re not too old to own squishes. Treat yourself a little.
