Enjoying Solitude… Maybe with Some Books for Introverts?
As an introvert, you truly understand the need to recharge your inner batteries silently. What do you do then? Do you go for a walk? Do you spend time in nature? Or maybe you choose to spoil yourself with a treat at a cozy local coffee shop. Whatever that is, I hope it brings you joy and it inspires you to celebrate your authentic quiet nature.
I like journaling. It allows me to let out all of my messy thoughts and helps me connect with myself. By journaling, I gain clarity and motivation. When I write my thoughts down, I usually start from short phrases that come to my mind. I let my mind roam freely, I make doodles and write words until words turn into sentences and doodles become ideas for future illustrations.
Best Books for Introverts (so you enjoy your Quiet Moments)
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it once more (rhyme unintended): “Quiet — the Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain still remains my favourite book on introversion. It was the first book I picked up on this subject, and it’s the closest to my soul.
Other books worth mentioning are: “The Secret Lives of Introverts: Inside Our Hidden Worlds” by Jenn Granneman and “The Irresistible Introvert: Harness the Power of Quiet Charisma in a Loud World” by Michaela Chung.
